Don’t Worry About What Other People Are Thinking. You Just Do You.

Be yourself. Forget anyone who can’t accept that.

We spend a lot of time thinking about other people.

By that, I don’t mean we spend a lot of time being considerate of other people and caring about their feelings in a kind or generous way.

I mean we spend a lot of time weighing, considering, and pondering what other people might be thinking about us.

We get so concerned about what other people may or may not be thinking about us or how they are feeling toward us, not because we’re concerned about their wellbeing, but because we want to be seen in the best light.

That’s pretty messed up, in my opinion.

All of that time we’ve spent selfishly considering other people won’t actually have any results. We could spend all the time in the world trying to figure out what they think of us without actually finding it out.

Instead, we should just live life.

Be awesome. Go on adventures. Ask stupid questions and come up with brilliant ideas. Don’t be held down by what other people may or may not be thinking.

Live your life by your own actions, not the potential thoughts of someone else.
